   From what I know of burning man its a big party in the desert.  I definitely want to get there at least once in my life.

I've been wanting to go for years. I first heard about it on a program called 99 things to do before you die which followed around a group of young people in a bus who were basically going around the USA and doing all these different random things and burning man was one of them. I understand that there is a fairly relaxed attitude to nudity at the event and it is certainly on my bucket list. I also heard that it completely sold out for the first time last year!

One of my top 10 things to do in life.  There are some pretty crazy art instillation's that I would love to see.  I always say next year and next year.  However I think that burning man will always remain a pipe dream.  I don't ever see my gf ever being interested in the Burning Man Experience.

I've been twice, 2006, and 2007. It's a very intense experience, physically and emotionally.

I've heard that while nudity is common and accepted at burning man naked people are by far in the minority.  It's the epitome of a "clothing optional" event; since nudity is accepted but most people didn't come there to get naked and most don't strip.  As for how many of those naked people would get nude at a nude beach/resort I'd guess probably most of them.  They might not seek it out but if the chance came up to go to such a place they'd be down.

That looks like loads of fun!! I don't know if I will make it to Burning man any time soon, but Its definitely an idea for the next summer BBQ!

If you can't make it to Burning Man there are dozens of smaller "burns" held all over the world every year.  Some are affiliated with the actual Burning Man organization and follow the same philosophy; others do their own version of it.  Here's a list

I've heard of burning man and it really sounds like it would be something I'd enjoy.  since it's held in the desert  I'm just not sure If I could pull it off.  I'd want to be nude but I tend to burn easily so I'd either have to compromise and wear clothes a lot or just go for a day which hardly seems worth it :(
