My shirt always goes first... and since my family is textile, the bottom half usually has to stay. :( But if it does come off, it's usually last.

I just tried bottom to top, and it just didn't really feel right.
For me it goes: top, shoes, socks, pants, boxers.
I rarely have a shirt on anyway though. Too much ink that has to be shown off.

My order is pretty much the same, although I rarely have shoes or socks on, and almost never underwear.

when i answered the poll it was top down after the shoes, now its bottom up, after any sweatshirt/jacket.

At swim practice, the common rule for changing is bottoms first, then quickly put on swimsuit without taking your shirt off, then take your shirt off. I suppose most of my fellow swimmers do this because they're afraid that they might become gay from seeing another man's junk.
I, having no such fear, plan to disrupt this sad practice at the first opportunity.

This was the attitude in school lockers. If you got naked in front of the other guys they would call you gay and make fun of you because you were naked.

I strip off top first, but that's just because I'm lazy. I always put off bending down if possible. When I wear pants, I actually tend to leave them on longer because my pants don't just slide off. I actually have to push them off (I suppose I could fuss with them using my feet, but that usually gets them coming off inside out and I have a tiny twitch about inside out clothes in the hamper).

I am the same way. Luckily, I'm a man and my pants aren't very tight. I can pretty much walk right out of them.

Like most guys, I take my top clothes off first, then bottom.  Sometimes I do a mixture like: trousers first, then shirt, then boxers.  I think taking your shirt off is not a big deal at all for guys, though when i was changing with a friend at a youth hostel it was the first time he'd seen me topless and he was surprised ;)  Later I saw that his chest is quite hairy and mine is naturally very smooth, so i think he was surprised. 

Taking my boxers off I always leave until last. I did once wonder what it would be like to take them off first and leave my shirt last before being nude in public, but I think it would look strange!

Bottoms first, I think it is because I feel they are the most restricting.

If you don't have shoes on then you take your pants off and then take your shoes off?     So that my head doesn't explode, I'm guessing that the second "shoes" should be "shirt".
