One of their member clubs can be found here and it has a youth section too.  Anyway, nudity is not illegal in Spain, did you know that? (see http://www.nudistday.com/index.php/article/public-nudity-is-completely-legal-in-spain.html)

Hey that is so cool! What a great attitude. It is not surprising that the federation has a small membership when nudity is perfectly legal and accepted. It is interesting though that whilst nudity isn't illegal, most people choose to be clothed in most situations away from their homes. What are our Spanish members experiences with this?? I'd love to know.

Hi all

this is not completely true.

I'm not completely in deatil with the activities of FEN but i have to tell you i fully disagree with some of the apreciations on the article. I never have seen nude people on the gardens or arround, and clearly I have bot seen many resorts and as big as in France or Germany.

It's true that Barcelona has been declared not illegal to be naked anywhere if not in sexual attitude, but also I have to tell you I have never seen anybody naked arround the street.

The Catalan nudist association is working hard (www.naturisme.org) and achieved that the olimpic swimming pool is kept a cpouple of days open for nudists ( find here info, but written in catalan http://www.picornell.cat/serveis/nudista.asp) Saturdays from 9-11 pm and Sundays 4:15-6 pm

Also Barcelona has a nudist beach just on the seafront, and i send you a link with the position of all the beaches where nudism is accepted or tolerated.

http://maps.google.es/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=es&t=h&om=1&msa=0&msid=116500430450939108513.0004489fb0099eaa62f15&ll=42.065607,2.27417&spn=5.977466,10.283203&z=7

In general nudism is well acepted, if in appropiate areas, and every year thare are confilcts when nudists try to be nude on general beaches.

Hope this clearifies a little bit  the situation
