Where is Alex Bay in relation to the Main Beach? I've only been to Noosa once on a polytech field trip back in 2005.

Yes.  Technically nudity is legal in Queensland as long as the genitals are covered.  It is legal for a female to be nude publicly, but not a male.  However, the police tend to like to twist laws to their own advantage when we've had the WNBRs in Queensland.  I don't know why they just can't lighten up, there are far more important things to worry about like vehicle accidents, vandalism, drink driving and other stuff that causes more endangerment to people's lives than non-sexual public nudity.

So hiking in the forest and I come upon a nice looking inviting waterfall on hot day it might be a bot risking to just jumo in then?

Hey, thinking of heading to A-Bay possibly tomorrow or next weekend. I have never been and just wanted to know what the crowd was like on an average weekend day. What are numbers like, what ages are there? Stuff like that.

Well I  can only tell you from my one time experience and it was pretty quite durring the day.  But very nice

With the October long weekend we had a family reunion in Noosa over the past week, but today was the first day of really good weather so a few of us did make it to Alexandria Bay and it was fabulous, Small surf, warm water and a good crowd - but the best part was no one in our group was the youngest naked person on the beach.

There were at least ten teenagers on the beach and I felt so good not being a youngster in the middle of more than fifty retirees.

Wow, that's great to hear!  (I wish I was more confident in my teenage years to do that!)

I recently had my first visit to A Bay, I went during the week, as this was to be my first time I was hoping for a quiet day.  Which is exactly what I got.  It was a beautiful sunny day, and I found the walk through the national park to the beach to be pleasant.





Stripped off and caught some sun and did some reading, I went for a swim.  I think I could get used to this!

It would be nice if the beach had phone reception.  Like I've said, I don't mind the walk down to the beach.  It's the long drive from Brisbane that annoys me the most!
