. . . you would become a non-person.  You would be as nothing.  Clothes do not make the man/woman.   :654

So, if you *or as I read anyone* becomes invisible when they remove their clothing what would occur?

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but if people became invisible if they removed their clothes, how long would it take before the nude looting occurred?

You're thinking nude people would run around stealing beach towels and backpacks?

I can't imagine nudists doing that, but the opening post says:

Quote
You would be able to adjust the filtering to display a blurred, pixelated image in place of a nude body, or an outline of a body with an interpolated background image replacing the body. (The outline would be required so you don't bump into people.)

That should work against looting too.

Well that would be interesting although isnt the point of social nudism to be naked around socially minded people? Thus the invisibility you wouldn't be seen in front of others/have fun? Hmm...

I've voted for: This would detract from the naturist experience for me.

I think that would ruin the experience of enjoying nature the way it should be. Our bodies are part of the nature as well. We don't born wearing clothes but nude. So what is more natural than being nude with others or alone?

I think it would detract, one the ideas that attracted me to nudism was about being open and revealing who you truly are without fear of judgement, regardless of what you look like. And being invisible, or having goggles that make you invisible, completely defeats the purpose.

(Before reading this, please keep in mind that I voted for it would help people want to try it, but I just had a change of heart, I apologize in advance for any confusion) :45

I don't think it would help people new to nudism. Sure it might help people who wish to try it. But to me it is just the same as if they were clothed. So it could confuse them, and make them uncomfortable when they suddenly have to see those nude bodies around them.
It's not a sin to be who we truly are.
