It seems risky to do something like that, considering that the outcome of the case could go either way. I'm 130% sure that the AANR would never condone doing something like that to make a statement, either, but maybe it's a good thing. If someone here and there stands out, it opens people eyes to nudism/naturism (Interesting that nudists/naturists are more or less unnoticed by the general public...), and if someone goes to court over it, then they can argue their case. It may not necessarily do a lot of good, but it can't do much harm.

I like the comment someone made about double standards, too.

And guess who's fault THAT is!

Probably AANR. To make a silly, nerdy analogy, AANR kind of reminds of the Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter... going around telling nudists how to behave and how not to behave, and spending most of their energy just trying to make sure that the average person doesn't notice that nudists exist... keeping nudism confined to special, secluded areas. Of course, they are just trying to keep the peace, but it's interesting. That's all I will say, though, I don't want to challenge AANR...

I disagree, we have to challenge the AANR since our interests conflict.

AANR makes money on private confined naked spots. If you can get naked where you don't have to pay, it's less money for them and their members.

The AANR wants to protect its bottom line, we want to be able to bare our bottoms. We don't have to tolerate AANR pretending to be our official voice.

I guess that's also why we have The Naturist Society. I will, for sure, be changing my membership from AANR to TNS in this new year since my interests align more with TNS. I don't necessarily think having AANR around is a bad thing (though they have pulled a couple of embarrassing stunts). I think AANR and TNS serve two different purposes.

I'll never understand the mindset of someone that is so traumatized by the sight of a nude body.

Judgement is still pending on the case but it is expected that there will be a rueling handed down by the end of january.  The rueling can still be apled to a higher court, and most likly will be.
