I've seen a lot of posts by naturists (here, but mostly elsewhere) that say that as long as people around them were comfortable with them going nude, then they would, even if it was only them. I'm wondering how common that feeling is and also I think it's a good point to discuss.

For me though, I couldn't do it unless at least a few others also would. If others did though, I would definitely take advantage of it every day. I feel like, even if it's technically allowed and all acceptable, I still need other people to be positive about it rather than just not mind.

The current "Bare Pit" comic is dealing with this topic. Public schools and places of business lack the security and sense of community that naturist places have. Therefore, I would only go nude if lots of other people did first and it was proven that they could do so without harassment.

I'd do it if even one other person did - if one person did it alone I'd probably see it as almost my duty to show solidarity with them. I know I'd hate to decide to give it a try, all by myself, be embarrassed into giving up, only later to find out that there was an actual naturist in my group who didn't join me!

That's very true. I'd have to dress at least 50% of the time anyway because of that.

That's another good point. What would you be most worried about perverts or prejudice?

Well as a naturist, I don't believe I have to be nude at every occassion to be one. I don't mind being nude at all and when it is more comfortable, I will be if I can. In short, I'll dress in whatever way makes me most comfortable at that time. But I do take in to account how people around me feel.

So in this instance, I would have to be comfortable with it and those around me would have to be comfortable with it to, and the most ideal of thos options up there would be if most other people did it as well

My stance is Nude when possible, clothed when practical, so if there wasn't any danger I'd go nude even if alone at first. I'm pretty sure sooner or later others would join in! Especially once they see that it's not sexual and how comfortable I am

It wouldn't be a great idea for (for instance) a lathe operator (too many moving parts  ) or a fry cook but I see no problem for wait staff, clerks, librarians, software engineers, cubicle dwellers of all sorts, phys ed teachers and especially sex ed teachers --  -- class project.

I work at such a small company I would only do it if the majority of the average number of people in the office did it (2) or my boss people did it.

I would go nude if there were some other people nude. i think i would feel more odd than usual and everyone would stare if i was the only one

If everyone else was truly comfortable with it I suppose I might, regardless of whether anyone else was choosing to go nude. Though they'd have to turn the heat up in my office first.

If it were to be legal sure I'd do it. Someone has to get the ball rolling.

Let me first state that I have been nude at beaches and home, as well as in front of individual friends....
Many years ago I worked someplace where we had a softball team and the guys used a gnag shower before work started. Call me modest, but I was not a big fan of coworkers knowing what I looked like nude. Is it possible for nudists to still have modesty? Just my thoughts....
