Your workplace or school goes clothing optional...

We had a small workout facility at work, and if I biked to work, I sometimes took a shower. Although I was generally the only person there, it did not bother me at all if coworkers happened to see me nude.

Although it would be nice to work nude with like-minded individuals, I don't think many of my coworkers were like-minded. My boss did mention that she went topless on a beach in Mexico, so I guess she would be cool. Given that a lot of the guys spent much of their day talking about or looking for porn, I don't think they'd really understand naturism.

I certainly think that it is.  I consider that to be the essential difference between being nude in public, which is not entirely illegal here, and performing a lewd act, which is certainly illegal.  Presumably you can stand on a street corner waiting for a bus and not be arrested for something which can be prosecuted.  However, if you are waving your parts at passing children while you are waiting for the bus the police will haul you away and you will be prosecuted.

Sorry, my bad.  I think I just learned not to ask rhetorical questions. I do see what you are saying. I always thought modesty was more like establishing a sense of privacy.  For example, my 10yo walks through the hall nude to dispose of her dirty laundry. While my 8yo covers up while doing the same thing. Of course, I may confused about it all...haha

 I voted that I would go nude if some other people did too.  However in my current job I definitely need to wear clothes for safety reasons, as well, dress and deportment is important in my line of work.  If I had a safer, more sedentary job with a relaxed dress code, or, if I was still in school, I would definitely go naked if a few other people did.

BUT, my summer job is delivering ice, so, despite the trucks not having A/C, the freezers usually require some sort of clothing.  That would cause frostbite in the worst places

It's ok i've heard them all every single day that I worked!  The absolute worst was when people would say "that must be a cool job! Get it? COOL job?!" Especially since it was usually 90 degrees out, our truck freezers do not run unless they are plugged in, and the trucks have no A/C so basically, no it's not a cool job

I would go nude even if no one else did just to raise awareness and see what the reaction would be. It may be very strong at first, but it would eventually die out.
