Monty Python

IMO the number one comedy show ever. John Cleese would have to be one of my fave actors.

Anyone else here a Python fan?

Quotes from these movies regularly flow in the office at work and home :-) Classic!

I love Monty Python, all of them are (well, was in Graham Chapman's case) really funny and smart! I think John Cleese is my favorite though even though I have a small crush on Michael Palin (in the older intriguing man category!)

Does anyone have any favorite scenes from the tv shows or movies? (I know you do, but this is a good topic that needs to keep going!)

Haha :D

I am a huge MP enthusiast. In fact, I learned most of my Enligsh by watching the Flying Circus as well as the movies with German subtitles .
And I'm still loving it. So much that it's hard to say which of the movies would be my favourite...

However, I don't like so much what I experience as "Eric Idle's commercialization" of the Python heritage in the recent years...

To prove your love of Monty Python, you must find the largest tree in this forest and cut it down WITH THIS HERRING!!!

For the TV show, for some reason, I like the sketches in stores (mattresses shops, drug stores, cheese shops, etc.) and one sketch where a man goes for flying lessons.

I use the name "Brutal Bunny" as my online game names.  Obvious M.P. inspiration :-D
