There were two types of humor my dad raised me with:  Mel Brooks' comedies and Monty Python.

Mel Brooks' comedies and Monty Python.
I'm profoundly convinced that the missing five commandments were decisive.  :324

"First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

There's nothin' Nietzsche couldn't teach ya bout the raising of the wrist. Socrates himself was permanently pissed.

That made philosophy much more fun. I would start giggling for no reason apparent to anyone outside my brain and the soundtrack it was playing.

I was actually debating buying Monty Python Fluxx the other day... Of course @BellaJordan doesn't get all the jokes.  Might just have to educate her.

BTW: Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

I fart in your general direction.

The only quote I really like from any movie is "Your mama's a snowblower"

Been a Python fan since young. Was delighted they did the stage show together last year.

Still get a kick out of seeing sketches like the cheese shop and the phiranna brothers.

I'm in the small minority of people who hate Monty Python.

I've seen the films and I didn't laugh once. :undecided:
