That was amazing! Nothing can replace Dio, but that was a fitting tribute to him. It was obvious they were having fun with the video and that's great to see.

Anyone else listen to Type O Negative?

Most people look at you funny when you mention one of your favorite songs is about a botched sex change.

The album 'life is killing me' is one of the main reasons I had a radio show in college. It sounds awesome in the studio.

I've been listening to a ton of Static X lately; for some reason 'Breathe' really does it for me. It needs a really good set of speakers or headphones though :(
The last three days, the rain was unstoppable. It was always cold, no sunshine.

Advent,
Music is definitely a whole new world when listening to it through the right equipment isn't it?!?!?!  This one producer I worked with was given a pair of speakers for his mixing room to do a product review on.  He was telling us about them... apparently $15,000 PER speaker!!!  Of course they sounded bad ass, especially since it was our music playing through them so we were definitely biased lol!  They rocked but even our producer said he would have never paid that much for them :-).  The amusing part of it all is that most of the listeners will be cranking that same tune through their cheap car speakers... It was an obvious situation that our all-wise producer pointed out Hahaha!!!

Any fan of gothic metal?

I'm going to see this band live when they come to Montreal:

A band that I've recently gotten into is a blend of heavy metal and Johnny Cash.  Ladies and gentleman, I give you Volbeat!

Rammstein > Einherjer > Amon Amarth > Disturbed > SOAD > Korn > 9 in nails > slipknot

Then like a hundred other awesome metal bands. Gotta say though, Rammstein is definitely my favorite heavy metal band ever.
