GOLF: Augusta Masters 2012
« on: April 07, 2012, 01:31:37 am »
We are getting to the moving day and things seem to run very tight among the top 10 leader board.

Who do you expect will win this year? An american? Or the major's tradition of 2011 will continue in 202 and a non one will take the green jacket.

I would love to see Couples or Jimenez to win it, but I am not sure about the real possibility of that to happen. I would say Rory or westwood seem to be strong competitors now that Woods had a hell of a second round...

What do you say?

Definitely going to be interesting.  The fact that Mickelson is in it after playing terribly makes me think he is looming large and will be a factor.

Poor old Rory having a bit of a 2011 final round like meltdown early on this round. Let's hope our boy can come back, he's the only legitamite Irish hope!

Apart from Rory, I also have money on Mahan, Badeley and Webb Simpson. Out of them, I think Hunter Mahan has the best chance, he's in good form.

I'm pulling for Phil, but if he can't win then I like to see Matt Kuchar take it.

Gonna be interesting.  Lefty and Peter Hanson sit at the top of the leaderboard.  Mickelson does have a shot at this having been there three times before, but if it becomes truly "a tradition like no other" he'll meltdown like he has done in the past.

I've never seen an Albatross live before. Louis deserves the title just for that!

Still holding out hope for Harrington though....(I know, I know, he's putting terribly)

I believe that sexism is winning this one once again.

What an awesome tournament this year - it makes for great entertainment when 6 or 7 guys have a real shot at winning on the final holes like they did this year.  Congrats to Bubba for a great win.
