Genital Hang ups

I was doing a search on the Into the Nude documentary (still haven't found it online yet) and happened upon these two other documentaries.  Both zoned in on our hang up over genitalia.  Interesting, frightening, and eye opening. 

So glad we are involved in a lifestyle the helps promote healthy body image.

i had seen somthing similar to this in school its so interesting that every  oy from 11-19 thinks tgeir penis is tiny what if we had naturist schools would the whole world just not look alot better

Yea it's definitively interesting how our society has hangups over one part of the body over another...when it's just another part of the body....funny how that works...

Isn't that horrible that so many people are that much influenced by ads and magazines that they seriously believe they'd be not beautiful?

Wow, very interesting!  I can attest that nudism has definitely helped with accepting my penis for what it is, and learning to love my body.

I thought that about myself when I was that age.  My only real exposure to other guys' stuff had been mostly through porn so I thought that mine was small to average when it's actually on the larger side of the scale.

I've said before that among non-nudist women the common comparison is probably how women feel about their boobs.  I've known so many women who thought their boobs were too saggy or small because all they have ever been exposed to are celebs who had plastic surgery and clothed women wearing padded/pushup bras.

I think it's usually to do with mirrors.  When we look at our own penises, we look at them from the top which gives it a shortened view.  When we look at other male's penises we are looking at them from the side on which gives a more accurate view.  However, as the actress said to the bishop "Baby, it ain't the size that counts, it's the way you use it!"  An interesting point of nature is that all erect penises are roughly the same size, so a guy who has a large flaccid penis isn't at anymore of an advantage than a guy who has a small one.

That's what I've heard too, Dario.  It's true, it's easy to think some guys look bigger but if you look at yourself in the mirror you will see you look normal or well-sized.  And, as you say, all penises grow to a similar size anyway.  I think it's one of those things that boys and men have always been curious about to compare, certainly boys at least, but really there's not all that much difference in the basics.

I think the statement that "all erect penises are roughly the same size" is a generalization though.  It certainly has truth, but not all of them are.  Not that it matters one bit though!

Agreed. I was very self conscious before getting into nudism. Now not only am I confident, I like the fact that I have a very small penis. I don't really keep that a secret. It differentiates me just like a big one differentiates someone else.
