out the options i chose Blade. The first one was a great movie, its a shame the sequels let it down. I think wesley snipes made a great Blade too. Although its a little annoying how they make him out to be so much better in the films than he actually is in the comics

I liked the "Queen of the Damned", for a great part because of the awesome soundtrack ^^

Good thread, it give me inspiration on a few movies to find for myself (Especially Stuart's "Black Sheep" thingie  :345678 )

In no particular order my favourites are:

"A Vampire in Brooklyn" (Eddie Murphy, 1995) -- both funny and scary.
"Blood for Dracula" (a.k.a. Andy Warhol's Dracula, 1974) -- ridiculously campy.
"Love at First Bite" (George Hamilton, 1979) -- very funny!
"Count Dracula" (Louis Jourdan, BBC miniseries, 1977) -- brilliant scary vampire flick!
"The Lost Boys" (1987) -- campy.
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (TV series) -- great combination of humour, fright & teen angst -- I could see myself and some of my friends in a lot of the supporting roles.

I haven't see either "Let the Right One In" or "Black Sheep" but I'm going to.  Especially "Black Sheep," it looks like a must see.

"Interview with the Vampire" is the best movie about vampires

This weekend, I saw Let the Right one in's remake, Let me In:

Although it's not as spectacular as the original one, it's a great movie, specially because of Chloe Moretz, this girl has what it takes to be a big actress in the future.

Another one I love:

One of the most fun movies I've ever seen!

The first half is a road movie, but then they walk into a bar full of vampires! :345678

John Carpenter's Vampires is the best. John Carpenter is one of the kings of Horror with The Thing, Christine, They Live, The Fog, Halloween, Dark Star, and several others.

The Strain. A TV series now in its fourth series. Spine-tingling, visceral drama horror, merging vampiric lore with a worldwide epidemic plague.
