This post contains answers to the most frequently asked questions by new members. Before you dive in, make sure you have read through the rules.


Questions about the Forum

So what is this forum all about?
This forum was set up by youth, for youth. Please see the RULES section for our definition of that. We want a safe, secure and fun place for everyone to discuss things close to their heart. Specifically, but by no means limited to Naturism. As the more eagle-eyed of you will have seen, we have many sections on here, including sports, music and of course off topic. Go explore, and enjoy!

Membership is restricted to under 40. Generally speaking, this forum is for the younger crowd whether that be generation Y, or X. New members can sign up, up to the age of 40, and we allow members who are slightly older to hang around when they are positively contributing to the community and are active leaders. We value you! You can become a member of Free Range Naturism Forum as well run by the excellent Karla and Stuart.


Do I HAVE to fill out my profile?
The simple answer is, yes. For issues of security we require that everyone fills in their profile, it's also nice to know a little bit about everyone so we're all familiar here. If you haven't already, head over to the Introductions board and post an introduction about yourself to the forum, as we also have a mandatory introduction thread policy.


What do the terms Casually Dressed, Topless with bottoms, Nude with Towel, etc. mean?
These are the number of posts you have made on the forum:

How can I view new posts since I last visited?
It is possible to see all of the posts that have been added since your last visit and all of the replies to messages that you have posted. At the top of the page under the main banner where it says Hello So-and-so you will see the two options in green text. These are clickable and will take you where you want to go.


Who manages the forum?
The forum is managed by the staff team, consisting of moderators in several groups (that we call divisions). Each staff member helps out in areas they are knowledgeable in, and the overall responsibility of maintaining the forum is shared by us as a collective team.

Most boards have dedicated 'local moderators', and there are staff members specialized in account management as well. If you have any questions, always feel free to message someone!

The staff team is expanded occasionally whenever the team sees the need to expand. Throughout this process we are always aiming for a healthy balance; we don't need a large team to maintain the forum, but as the forum is a leisure activity for us all we spread the responsibilities amongst multiple members.


Questions about Permissions


Why can I not reply to a private message?
For security reasons, given our age groups here, we want a chance to get to know you first. We want to be sure you are here for the right reasons.  Therefore, if you are here only to chat or do the private message thing, best to move on as its not for you here.  We want active members and it takes a little time. However, if you are from another forum or organization and known to a staff member, we can change this immediately. Contact us.


Are there private areas, I cannot see?
Yes, there are.  They are the Girls, Guys, and Teen sections.  They are off limits until trust is built and verified with a moderator.  Again, for security reasons.  If you have interest in accessing these areas and are of the right gender/age, please contact one of the local moderators who take care of these areas.  You can find out who they are, by looking at the staff list at the top of the page.


Are there galleries?
Yes, there are, but until you've posted a significant amount, variable time, gotten known, etc.. they won't open up to you. This is obviously for security, so if you've just come here for nude photos, you're in the wrong place. There are private galleries which are separate, in the Teens area and Girls area as well. (see below)


I had gallery access, and now, I do not. Why is that?
Our community has standards and security settings in place.  It is an interactive community of ideas and thoughts.  We want and need someone to contribute.  If you had access to the galleries -- of which there are several -- and no longer have them, it is an automatic response from our system that simply says, 'they are online but never post but do go to the galleries so they are here for one reason only"  And then, the system takes that access away for a period of time. 


Why can I not see profiles or respond to private messages? I am new here and wish to get to know people.
See galleries above. It is for YOUR security. You will automatically receive access to certain permissions over time when contributing positively.


Other Questions

Are words censored?
No, we only ask you to use logic an manners in your posts.  If you wish to say fuck, say fuck. If you wish to say cock, say cock. Words are words.

Saying that, if a poster is constantly using off color words (or cussing if you prefer) in their posts, then we do consider this inappropriate.  The occasional usage of off color words is fine, but if it is determined by the staff that overage of said words is a part of the posters history, then a simple warning/request will be made to ask them to stop.  If this is argued or not adhered to, then further action may and usually will, result in further action.

We want a youth culture forum and while that means we should be tolerant, it does not mean that a poster will be permitted to cuss and use off color words on a constant basis. 


I get too many notifications, how do I stop these?
Notifications for posts you've created and posted in are turned by on by default to disable go to Profile -> Modify Profile -> Notifications

Then uncheck 'Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic'. Then remove topics you don't want notifications for.


Can I deactivate my account?
If want to get away for a while you could opt for cooling off period by not logging on for a while. Since a deletion can't be undone you can re-register but you'll start from the beginning again. You might have the option under your profile. If not PM a staff member from Accounts Division ideally and they will go through the process. Also remember to delete any pictures in the gallery you don't want there anymore as these are not automatically deleted when an account is deleted.


Is there a place to chat?
Whilst we do encourage members to be active posters in the forum, we understand that a chat function is fun at times. Currently we recommend that you pm a person you would like to chat with requesting permission to add them. If they agree then go ahead, add them and ask them a good time to chat. If they decline, please respect their decision. Please don't randomly add members as it is impolite and can make them less likely to enjoy their time here. Remember to be polite, courteous and respect their privacy and feelings. If you are offended by anyone in chat, let them know. If they persist, please let the administrators or moderators know. We are here to help.


Who owns the rights to content posted to the forum?
The forum is a collection of user-submitted content, and all the content on the forum is owned by the respective users who have uploaded their contributions. When content is uploaded, we (the forum) assume that the uploader has the right to do so, and the user takes full responsibility for the content they upload. Our policy on this does not differ from that of other social platforms on the internet.

If content is uploaded without the required permission from copyright holders, and the copyright holder contacts the forum administration about this infringement, law requires us to take down the content and, if requested by the copyright-holding party, provide the claiming party with information we store of the user who has uploaded the infringing content. This is, again, the same policy as any other social platform on the internet. Ultimately, we provide the platform and must put in reasonable effort not to host infringing content (which we do through approval processes, i.e. in the gallery) but the users submitting content to the platform are legally responsible.

In connection to this responsibility, and as an extension to the forum being based in Europe, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and allow members to permanently remove their account and uploaded content on request. This process does not undo the wrong act of uploading infringing or illegal content to the forum, if this were to happen we are legally required to maintain the data and personally identifiable information related to a claim or (legal) investigation.


Is IYNO affiliated with the INF-FNI?
No, IYNO is an independent organization formed to be an accessible, open community on the internet. We do highly encourage members who are interested in naturism to reach out to their local organization or the INF-FNI, but these organizations have no connection with IYNO.

Despite not being tied to the INF-FNI, IYNO follows the same values and norms as other naturist organizations, both national and international. Our definition of Naturism is the same as that of naturist organizations around the globe. This means that we expect all our members to adhere to these values too.

What should I do if I have a question that isn't answered here?
We have a great multi-cultural team of moderators and administrators who between them have a huge knowledge base. If you have a question that isn't answered here, just drop them a PM in the appropriate language and you'll get a speedy reply!

En quoi consiste ce forum ?
Ce forum a été mis en place par des jeunes pour des jeunes. Veuillez vous référer à la section REGLES pour une définition de cela. Nous voulons un endroit sûr et agréable pour tous afin de pouvoir discuter de choses qui nous tiennent à coeur, plus particulièrement mais non de manière exclusive du naturisme. Comme les plus observants d’entre vous aurons remarqué, nous avons ici de nombreuses sections incluant sport, musique et bien entendu une section hors sujet. Explorez et profitez-en !

D’une manière générale, ce forum se destine à un public jeune, qu’il soit de la génération X ou Y. Cela signifie que jusque l’âge de 40 ans, on peut s’y inscrire mais les membres déjà inscrits qui dépassent cette limite et qui contribuent activement au forum de manière positive ainsi que les responsables pourront très certainement bénéficier d’exceptions. Dois-je compléter mon profile ?
La réponse est tout simplement oui. Pour des raisons de sécurité, nous éxigeons que tout le monde complète son profile. Cela est par ailleurs plus agréable d’avoir un minimum d’informations afin de mieux se connaître. Si vous ne l’avez pas encore fait, faîtes un tour dans la section introduction et postez-y une présentation de vous car nous avons aussi une politique de présentation obligatoire.


Y-a-t-il des galeries d’images ?
Oui, il y en a, mais tant que vous n’avez pas suffisamment posté de messages sur le forum, elles ne vous seront pas accessibles, ceci pour des raisons évidentes de sécurité. Donc si vous venez ici uniquement pour des photos de nudité, vous êtes au mauvais endroit. Il y a des galeries séparées, y-compris dans les sections “Teens” (ados) et “Girls” (filles) (voir ci-bas).


Pourquoi est-ce que je ne peux pas voir les profiles ou répondre aux messages privés ? Je suis nouveau ici et souhaiterais faire connaissance.
Voir ci-dessus. Cela est pour VOTRE sécurité. Cela viendra en temps et en heure, à moins que vous soyez déjà connus par d’autres membres ou par l’intermédiaire d’un autre forum naturiste.


Pourquoi est-ce que je ne peux pas répondre aux messages privés ?
Pour des raisons de sécurité, vu notre tranche d’âge, nous souhaitons d’abord vous connaître. Nous voulons être sûrs que vous soyez ici pour les bonnes raisons. Ainsi, si vous n’êtes ici que pour chatter ou envoyer des messages personnels, il est préférable que vous passiez votre chemin car ce forum n’est pas fait pour vous. Nous voulons des membres actifs et cela requière du temps. Ceci-dit, si vous êtes membre d’un autre forum ou organisation et que vous êtes connu par un des membres de notre équipe de responsables, nous pouvons changer cela immédiatement. Dans ce cas, contactez-nous.

Y-a-t-il des sections privées que je ne peux pas voir ?
Oui, il y en a. L’une d’entre elle est la section “Girls” (filles) et l’autre, la section “Teens” (ados). Elles ne sont pas accessibles jusqu’à ce que la confiance soit établie et vérifiée par un modérateur, encore une fois, pour des raisons de sécurité. Si vous souhaitez accéder à ces sections et que vous corespondez au genre ou à l’âge en question, veuillez contacter l’un de nos modérateurs locaux qui s’occupe de ces sections. Vous pouvez voir qui ils sont en jetant un coup d’oeil à la liste des membres de l’équipe des responsables en haut de la page.


Que signifient les termes “Casually Dressed”, “Topless with bottoms”, “Nude with Towel”, etc… ?
Cela se réfère au nombre de messages postés sur le forum.

• “Fully Dressed” (Complètement habillé) : 1-9 messages
• “Casually Dressed” (En tenue décontractée) : 10-49
• “Topless with bottoms” (Sans haut, avec bas) : 50-149
• “Nude with Towel” (Nu, avec serviette) : 150-299
• “Nude without Towel” (Nu, sans serviette) : 300-599
• “Shouting it out loud” (le criant haut et fort) : 600-1499
• “Naturist Superhero” (Super héros naturiste) : 1500-2999

J’ai eu accès aux galeries mais maintenant ce n’est plus le cas. Comment cela se fait-il ?
Notre communauté a des principes et des configurations de sécurité en place. C’est une communauté interactive d’idées et d’opinions. Nous voulons et nous avons besoin de contributions. Si vous aviez accès aux galeries (il y en a de plusieurs sortes) et n’en avez plus, il s’agit d’une réponse automatique de notre système qui dit simplement “ils sont en ligne mais ne postent jamais et vont visionner les galeries, donc ils ne sont ici que pour une seule et unique raison”. Ainsi le système retire ensuite cet accès pendant un temps donné.


Comment est-ce que je peux visionner les nouveaux posts depuis ma dernière visite ?
Il est possible de voir tous les posts qui ont été ajoutés depuis votre dernière visite ainsi que toutes les réponses aux messages que vous avez postez. En haut de la page, sous la bannière principale, où il est écrit “Hello”, vous verrez les deux options en texte vert. En cliquant dessus, cela vous y emmènera.


Y-a-t-il une censure des mots ?
Non, nous vous demandons simplement de faire preuve de bon sens et d’être courtois dans vos posts. Si vous souhaitez dire “putain”, dîtes-le. Si vous souhaitez dire “bite”, dîtes-le. Les mots sont les mots.

Ceci étant dit, si un membre utilise constamment des mots grossiers (ou des jurons si vous préférez) dans ses posts, nous considérerions cela inapproprié. L’usage occasionnel de mots grossiers est acceptable mais s’il avère que cela est récurent, un simple avertissement sera envoyé afin que ce comportement cesse. En cas de non coopération, d’autres mesures pourront être prises.

Nous voulons d’un forum ayant une culture jeune et bien que cela signifie que nous devrions être tolérant, cela ne veut pas dire qu’un membre puisse se permettre de jurer et d’utiliser des mots grossiers de manière constante.


Je reçois trop de notifications Comment puis-je arrêter ces?
Les notifications pour les messages que vous avez créés et affichés sont activées par défaut pour désactiver aller au profil(profile) -> modifier le profil(Modify profile)-> notifications

Décochez ensuite, activez la notification lorsque vous postez ou répondez à un sujet.(Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.) Supprimez ensuite les rubriques pour lesquelles vous ne voulez pas de notifications.

Suppression de compte

Si vous voulez vous échapper pendant un certain temps, vous pouvez opter pour la période de refroidissement en ne se connectant pas pendant un certain temps. Depuis une suppression ne peut pas être annulé, vous pouvez ré-enregistrer, mais vous allez commencer à partir du début à nouveau. Vous pouvez avoir l'option sous votre profil. Si ce n'est pas PM un membre du personnel de la Division des comptes idéalement et ils vont passer par le processus.


Qu’est-ce que le naturisme exactement (FKK en allemand) ?

Mission du naturisme :
Faire cesser internationalement le tabou de la nudité publique et promouvoir le nudisme dans les sports, les activités de loisirs et la vie domestique.
Créer internationalement un code vestimentaire “vêtements optionnels”.
Promouvoir la santé mentale et physique, la forme physique et le port de vêtements confortables.

FKK = Freikorperkultur = Culture du Corps Libre
Le naturisme (FKK) est un mouvement social, culturel et politique européen centenaire qui fut uniquement supprimé durant les périodes de militarisation allemande lors de première guerre mondiale et la période nationale-socialiste (Nazie).
Le naturisme est un mouvement traditionnel en Scandinavie, Allemagne, France, Pays-Bas, Espagne et autres régions d’Europe.
Aux Etats-Unis, le nudisme a une longue histoire et dans l’Amérique actuelle, la nudité récréative fait plus d’adeptes que le golf, bien que les racines historiques y sont moins mises en valeur comparé aux organisations naturistes européennes qui, elles généralement, les mettent en avant.

Le naturisme (FKK) est un mouvement militant d’action politique.

Y-a-t-il un endroit pour chatter ?
Même si nous encourageons les membres à poster de manière active sur le forum, nous pouvons comprendre qu’une fonction chat puisse être fun parfois. Actuellement nous vous recommandons d’envoyer un message privé aux personnes avec qui vous souhaiteriez chatter en leur demandant la permission de les ajouter. Si ceux-ci acceptent, allez-y, ajoutez-les et demandez leur un créneau horaire pour chatter. S’ils refusent, veuillez respecter leur décision. N’ajoutez pas de membres de manière aléatoire car cela est impoli et est propice à rendre leur expérience sur ce forum moins agréable. Soyez poli, courtois et respectez leur intimité ainsi que leur sentiments. Si vous êtes importuné par une personne lors d’un chat, faîte-le lui savoir. Si celle-ci persiste, veuillez en informer les administrateurs ou modérateurs. Nous sommes là pour vous aider.
