Oh, man, chiggers can be bad.  I wore shorts on a short walk with a friend and got devoured by chiggers.  They were ALL OVER my legs.  That was about a month ago and you can still see a lot of the spots.

Hiked out to a cabin after work Friday, actually. Saturday a few of us managed to get to the glacier across from the cabin. That trail is more a sadistic joke - at one point it took us an hour and a half to move 150 feet horizontally by fording a waterfall, climbing a cliff, traversing the (very slippery) cliff and then climbing back down. Overall it was 6 hours for a 4 mile round trip. Totally worth it to go up the canyon onto freshly exposed ground and a glacier. Hiked back Sunday and I'm a tad bit sore today!
The last three days, the rain was unstoppable. It was always cold, no sunshine.

 :e4444 What's "the AT" ? Is it a difficult/long hike?

Sounds great! Plenty of opportunities for naked hikes there then. Did you meet any naked hikers during your summer soltice hike?

I'd be really curious how many people do parts of the AP nude, and how many people they bump into.

Don't most people hike south-north? It seems like if enough people are going the same direction it would cut down the accidental meetups.

I did a nude hike last weekend. It was very interesting. Nothing more relaxing than you and nature  :543
