Any Bronies out there?
« on: August 06, 2012, 03:42:51 pm »
Do any of you guys watch My Little Pony- Friendship is Magic?
It's a TV Show which, though originally aimed for young girls, has developed a massive fanbase of adults.
A fun fact about the show is that the main characters live in a town where nobody wears clothes- considering they are animals, this would be normal, except all other cities and towns shown have everyone clothed. Maybe Ponyville is a nudist colony?

And if you are a Brony... who do you consider Best Pony?

I dont think it has made it here to NZ yet, but as an ex horse rider - it sounds interesting! I know as an adult I have sat and watched many hours of "the saddle club" which is aimed mainly at pre-teen girls!!
I might see if i can find an episode of your program online!

I do occasionally watch and enjoy the show, but don't consider myself a brony. Mainly because the fanbase kind of annoys me.

You know, I think I have heard similar words when people have talked about religion.

I can't identify myself as a bronie, but I enjoy watching it sometimes. There are some fun moments which come from reflecting things and people in real world. I think I have seen some movie references too.

If I had the chance, I would watch it to see what it's about.

Leave a hoof bump if you like the show. /)
There is no best pony, i love all my little ponies.  Although i wish Lauren faust would go back to work on the show. S3 was cut short when she left and since then the show just hasn't been the same.
The greatest danger for humanity lies not in aiming too high and falling short, but in aiming too low and achieving our mark.

I haven't seen the show but I certainly won't judge you for liking it like many do.

The point of the show for lots of people watching is that they like to see something cheerful on TV that doesn't insult their intelligence for a change.
