wasn't the last movie i saw but "the marvels".
total waste of time.
the regular dumb story that at times hard to follow, shallow characters, boring fight scenes and no contribution to the MCU.

on the other hand,  i saw barbie, was expecting a really dumb movie but was surprised. was an ok movie and had some nice insights about our society.
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

rob marshall's chicago. it's amazing across the board, but it also can't decide whether it wants to be a movie adaptation or just a televised version of itself

It’s only me

maestro. was very impressed

The last movie I saw was The Boy and The Heron. I'm a huge Studio Ghibli fan, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed.

Bad Samaritan starring David Tenant. Not something I'd normally choose to watch but my friend wanted to see it last night and I was surprisingly into it.

Oh and the night before we watched Synchronic. Again her choice and not something I'd normally be interested in but I found it intriguing although we were both disappointed with the ending.

Imaginary - I was quite disappointed, so much wasted potential. May work for casual horror movie watchers, not scary at all for regulars.

The Devil's Bath - Quite dark and disturbing, I found the movie very effective and it does linger (of course, YMMV). As it is an Austrian movie, I don't know if it will ever be widely available outside German-speaking regions.

I saw Sing Street which came out in 2016 but I had never heard of it before. This movie is a gem and I wish more people knew about it. It's an Irish movie that takes place in the 80s about a group of teenagers who start a rock band. The story is so well written, it's got plenty of humor and drama, the characters are great, and the music is excellent! So good that I have added the soundtrack to my playlists and listen to it all the time. It's streaming for free on Tubi so everyone do yourselves a favor and watch this movie if you haven't already

Dune2. I really liked it. The photography was expectacular and it is very well written. 9/10
