I just saw "Nocturnal Animals" starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams, written and directed by Tom Ford. The entire opening title sequence is a series of robust women dancing naked. At the screening Tom said he fell in love with these women because they were so comfortable in their own skin; they celebrated their bodies and he hoped the sequence did that celebration justice.

Arrival. It was a brilliant science fiction film that was incredibly thought-provoking.

@The_Xenologer I've read reviews that say it's brilliant, except for the ending. Withought spoilers, is it a good ending?

I thought it was. It did feel a bit anti-climactic I suppose, but it didn't feel disjointed with the rest of the film.

Doctor Strange. Definitely the trippiest MCU film I've seen, but in a good way.

Race.

It's about track legend Jesse Owens who won four Olympic gold medals at the 1936 Games in Berlin.  This was back when the Nazis were running the country.  I thought it was a pretty decent film.

I watched a few movies over the weekend; The Huntsman: Winter's War, London Has Fallen and Don't Think Twice.

The Huntsman wasn't bad, i'm not sure if I preferred it over Snow White and the Huntsman or not. London Has Fallen is ok if you just want to switch your brain off and watch something entertaining and Don't Think Twice has a kind of documentary feel about it but well written, has some good laughs but was a bit slow in places.
