The Space Between Us. 

The first child born on Mars falls for a girl on Earth he meets on a chat forum (not unlike this one!) but discovers his physiology means he can't live in Earth's environment.  Nevertheless, he pays her a visit.

Quite touching but a bit twee.

Finally got around to finishing Magnificent 7.  Feel asleep twice as it couldn't keep my interest.  Wife feel asleep too which is rare, maybe we were just that tired!  Expected more from a Denzel/Pratt movie...

The Dark Tower.. its a decent movie as long as you dont expect to be anything like the books by Stephen King.

Just watched Disney's Tarzan.  Shipwrecked couple die and their baby is rescued and raised by apes. Years later, baby is a grown adult called Tarzan.  He's never heard a human speak and he learns English from three British exploers who have just arrived on the island. 

Trouble is, even though they all have an impeccable English accent, he ends up with an American accent. Where did THAT come from?

I saw IT and it was really good! Pennywise the Dancing Clown and the scares were good and creepy and all that but what made this movie stand out was the kids. The young actors did a great job, and their characters and stories were what drove it forward and made us care and connect. Very well done
