I'm so far behind on Marvel movies. I still need to see Iron Man 3 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier before I can go see Age of Ultron. I've been told I should also watch some of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

You don't really have to watch agents of shield for the avengers since the show doesn't impact the movies. But it is interesting seeing how the movies impact the show.

S.H.E.I.L.D.  is a stand alone tv series that is used to advertise Marvel's movies by tying in characters from the series to the movies & visa versa. They are trying to get the series fan base to go see the movies & the movies fan base to watch the series. It's a plan to make money two different ways for Disney (owner of Marvel).

I'd only watch Captain America Winter Soldier before watching Ultron and maybe the last 5 minutes of the last episode of Agents of Shield. Even then you can figure out what is going on without seeing the other ones.

I saw Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ex Machina. The second Avengers was amazing! The only Marvel Cinematic Universe film I've enjoyed more was Winter Soldier. Ex Machina was one of the best sci-fi films I've ever seen about artificial intelligence. It was brilliantly acted, well-written, and beautifully shot, with great ideas and images that stay with you for days afterward.

Mad Max: Fury Road
