In other movie news I still haven't seen Star Wars Rogue One :'( I've been ill so I couldn't see it with friends and now it's almost too late.

Dang I was looking forward to Assassins Creed, but everyone is saying it is terrible :(. I was on a long flight recently and watched "In Bruges" - I loved it! Laughed out loud on the plane a few times - sorry passengers next to me.

Hosted Women's Naked Movie Night this past Monday and Tuesday. We watched "20th Century Women" and "Hidden Figures." The first isn't so good. The actors are great, but the story is odd and never really connects. "Hidden Figures" is my #1 movie of 2016. I have seen it four times now. Great story, fantastic music, excellent performances, and very timely.

In case anyone is interested... My TOP FIVE Movies of 2016:
1. "Hidden Figures"
2. "Deadpool"
3. "La La Land"
4. "Moonlight"
5. "Nocturnal Animals"

Foreign Film: "A Man Called Ove" (Sweden, naturally)

Documentary: (tie) "Tickled," "Weiner"

Worst movie of the year: Warren Beatty’s "Rules Don’t Apply"

I never heard about Hidden Figures until it was nominated for awards, and even then I never even saw a trailer or TV spot for it until just the other day.  I finally watched the trailer and now I really want to see it, it looks so good!  i haven't seen 20th Century Women yet either.  It really caught my eye because it takes place in my hometown and I recognized so many places in the trailer, it's a shame that it's not very good though.
