It's a goofy, but catchy Korean pop song with a really strange music video that went viral a few months ago.  The singer does this weird galloping dance maneuver throughout the video.  Here's the original video.



It turned into this big meme to do parodies of the video.  My favorite was shot at Dragon*Con earlier this month.  Dragon*Con is a convention for genre geeks, so it's got all of these people in crazy costumes.  I was at D*Con this year and even know one of the people in the video & remember seeing several of the others.  If you only check out one parody I recommend this one.

What a crack up! Can't believe 80,000 people went to (probably paid to also...) that event... where they just sing themselves! haha.

I think it's super impressive this PSY guy has nearly 412 million hits on YouTube - what an awesome achievement.  Bet he never expected it would get so popular.  Not bad after only 2 months, considering it's well over half the number Justin Bieber's "Baby" that's been up two years already...

Heard he was going to take his shirt off and sing it live (I think) if he got to number one in USA actual charts... Anyone heard if he made it?
