I am not explicitly collecting anything but I have a very hard time throwing away books, even if I'm sure I'll never read them again.

I have 4 consecutive years of baseall cards from the 1970's. All in books, in plastic. Does that get any geekier?
Yes, it does! In the books of vintage erotica, people were reported to collect pubes of all their (former) lovers! :45
A difficult task nowadays in the "metro times", less and less you can find any... :786

Never throw them away, bring them to some library!

Many technical books really are completely useless, a waste of space and should be recycled into something useful.

Things can turn obsolete rather fast.

You're right! Sometimes I pass by some book stores which still sell something like "Windows 98 tips and tricks" for no more than 1 Euro...

so yeah, i suppose i collect stuff without even really realising it!

Pretty much sums me up. Train tickets, picks, concert tickets, bits of rock... Literally anything I pick up that I find interesting ends up in my room. No wonder it's such a pain whenever we move house ^^
On an extended IYNO break... for now.

I have collected Star Wars action figures since I was in kindergarten, and I'm now a freshman in college. I've sort of exceeded my ability to store them, so they're starting to pile up a bit.
