Carolina foothills resort

Has anyone been to Carolina foothills resort? Looking for people's experiences of the place. Wondering if it is worth the fee.  Should I  try it out this spring?

Found out that they have a free open house weekend the last weekend of April.

I know it's an old post.  CFR is a resort I have been to several times.  It's only about an hour an a half from where I  live.  If anyone ever wants to meet up there on a weekend, I could normally make it there, if given notice. Depending on what's going on, it may be only for Saturday, as I sometimes have a busy Sunday.
