Christmas bath

On the German island of Sylt people took a bath in the ocean on Christmas day. Some of them even did it nude.

my girlfriend did a Boxing Day swim a few years ago, but there doesn't seem to be any nudist ones about - suggested why not head to our local beach but it's not the same.

even tho i love in canada where out winters can get cold and we do get acclimatized to the cold that's still something i couldn't do

it is great fun, we went to support some friends who did their local one on Boxing Day - you get everybody, a lot in fancy dress, a lot in just swimwear but unfortunately there are no nudist ones (that I know of)

our friends Karren and Tom were doing their first one along with their two girls, a great way to work off the Christmas dinner although Karren did wonder if she would still be able to squeeze into her swimsuit as she felt like she was going to pop after all the turkey and trimmings the day before... She and the girls ended up with bits of tinsel wrapped around their swimsuits and wearing Santa hats.

It wasn't as cold as previous years but at least there was no snow on the ground.

girlfriend's certainly up for doing another one next year so i wonder if i'm brave enough to join her... :879
