Melbourne events Feb 2013?
« on: February 05, 2013, 02:08:50 pm »
Unsure where to post this, but I was wondering if there were any nude or clothing optional events or places worth going to or seeing in Melbourne, as I'm pretty keen to head there mid/late Feb 2013 (a couple of weeks time).

Also nude friendly accommodation even... I know there are places in Sydney, and the Auckland naturist club I belong to has accommodation, but no idea about Melbourne.

Never been to Melbourne as a nudist before, so not sure if there is much around at that time?

Any news, feel free to PM me or post here :)

Hey mate

there are a number of nude beaches around Melbourne but sadly they are not super close to the city (suprise suprise)

Here is a weblink to the legal ones http://www.freebeach.com.au/nude-beaches/

depending on when you are here there are few nude swim nights around town. however they happen  once a month so timing is everything.

If you are close to the city there is a cool little japanese bath house which is located on the edge of the city in Collingwood - http://www.japanesebathhouse.com/

If all else fails you can nude up in your hotel room

Hope you enjoy your stay if the world's most livable city - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World's_most_livable_cities
It must be true if it is on Wikipedia !!

Cheers
dave

Most liveable city?????  Except in Winter, Spring and Summer - there are two weeks in April that aren't too bad!

Really you have fallen for all the rhetoric there, along with the "World's Greatest Sporting City" and home of the "Race that stops the nation."

No one else even makes these claims.

Thanks heaps Nude Dave :-)

Those links are great, I'll research them some more and plan out some good days out.

Apparently the weather has been great for the last wee while, so looking forward to that :)

If any events are on 19-25th Feb, look forward to hearing about them.

Otherwise nude in the hotel is still good lol ;)

Just being cheeky - I love Melbourne - but for the things that make Melbourne great.  These being the food and the bars.

But liveable?? Compared to Brisbane, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, San Diego, Cape Town, Hong Kong or even Munich, San Francisco and Vancouver?

i love all of Australia's capital cities as well and i lvoe how different they all are.

Having only ever lived in Melbourne and visted a small number of lplaces that you listed im the last person to make an informed judgement on where the most liveable city is!!

All a bit of fun  :Butt Shake:
