I'm taking ballroom dancing lessons this year with a girl I really like, and she's been looking for new music to add to her dancing playlist. Does anyone have any favorite dance-type songs?

Hey AndrewH,

for wich dance (foxtrott, cha-cha-cha, waltz, ...) do you looking for music?

In germany is a site, which lists a lot of ballroom-musik, perhaps you can use it also:

Not sure if this exactly "ballroom" but give The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra a try.

Tell her to buy this CD: http://www.danceshopper.com/ballroom-dance-music.Ballroom_Nights_3_2CD_

My Dad is featured on it with his own composition "Singing & Swinging" and it also includes songs by Ray Davies of The Kinks, Tom Jones & Mousse T, and Manhattan Transfer.  :-)
