Pacific Sun Friends featured in The Project

Brisbane nudist retreat Pacific Sun Friends was featured in a short clip about nudism on Channel 10's TV show "The Project" on Friday night at 6.30pm and 11.15pm. 

This was filmed at very short notice, and was originally cancelled due to bad weather we've been having but the night before the camera crew changed their minds and decided to go ahead with it.

I'm not featured in this video btw, because it was originally posted to my Brisbane Naturists group by my co-admin Jason Nud who thought that to promote it would clash with my own event the same day (which nobody turned up for - now I'm wishing I *had* known that it was going to be on!)

They interviewed Les Rootsey from TAN Magazine, Kim Christensen, Jay Wright, and Hollie Barnes who is the 17-year-old daughter of one of the PSF members.  I tried to send her a FR on FB in the hope I could invite her to this forum, but she turned it down.  :-(

Actually very good - Holly presented very well.  The other s presented too many cliches and went where the interview didn't need to good, such as erections, sunscreen on your bits and accidental accidents and stating that it isn't sexual.

Would not have recognised it as being specifically at PSF as Tyagarah, Belongil, Maslins and Cobblers all got a bit of viewing.

Liked the supportive comment from the host of "I understand being nude at the beach, but don't understand doing dangerous chores nude".

Actually, the woman who was talking about erections in the clip bullied me on Facebook over my thoughts on erections as well as sexual predators who use naturism for their own selfish ends.   When I said that erections are a natural male reaction and nothing to be embarassed about but at the same time not to be shoved into people's faces she cracked a major hissy fit and said if she ever saw a guy at a nudist place with an erection she would be very offended.

Also, when I complained about a couple of members using my Facebook group for extra-curricular sexual activity she tagged me and my wall post in her time-line and called me a 'nutter' to other people on her contact list, many of whom I don't even know in person.

Hardly a good advocate for the nudist lifestyle.  I believe that truth is more important than being naked.

I also think it's pretty stupid to do certain activities in the nude like construction work or cooking over a bbq.  That's where common should rule over 24/7 nakedness for everyone like some of these nudists want.

Hollie came across as quite a likeable and normal teenager, but there are very few teens involved in nudism in Brisbane so it must be lonely for her having nobody her own age to mix with.

  a younger person in the video fantastic she is also in the current issue of tan magazine excellent to see someone younger hope it inspires some more younger people to give the lifestyle a go .

I don't know.  I tried to download it with Real Player Downloader, but it didn't work.  Even tried Savetube and other file grabbing programmes and that wouldn't do the trick either.  Will keep trying though.  :-)
