George Bernard Shaw, Playwright; anyone else think he's an absolute genius??

I particularly enjoyed "Man and Superman"...

I've only read Pygmallion and it was very well written.

(sorry bump)

Did you see the movie they made for Pygmalion in 1938? It's one of the rare movies I enjoyed!

I still have 10 play by Shaw that I haven't read yet... I just finished Candida last week and started The Great Catherine! Edstaston is the man.

My Fair Lady is overrated, you people need to read stuff like "Major Barbara", "Man and Superman" or one of the other 62 plays Bernard Shaw wrote that aren't "Pygmalion".

Although reading Pygmalion is much better than fake movies.... Here's a hint, Shaw never wanted Higgins to fall in love with the "fair lady", and in the book at the end he sends her off and doesn't care. In "My Fair Lady", as far as I know, they wanted him to be in love... Which is why is sucks!
