In the last D&D game I played in my character was an orc who lived alongside the avatar of his god (no actual name, just "the Blood God"), and I felt the need to draw the latter:

I mostly draw cartoons myself. Realism eludes me, especially with humans. Hands are a pain for me.

I would love to draw more cartoon type, but I can't really draw anything from my mind. I need something to draw from, like a model.
I don't like drawing hands either.  Just lack of training. But can't get myself to practice them.

I think for every artist hands, hair and right postion of shadows are a pain
so you are not alone
