I read today Brazil are planning on keeping Scolari as manager, despite the 7-1 defeat, it may not be meaningless for him, if they lose heavily again.

The Netherlands won 3-0. It has been a disastrous end to the World Cup for Brazil. The got to the last for and conceded 10 goals in 2 games. I think Netherlands deserve to have been in the final, certainly more than Argentina. Germany have been the best team in the World Cup in my opinion but Netherlands are the only team that come close.

It's weird how as soon as Neymar got injured, it all went to pot.

I think they missed Thiago Silva more than Neymar in the Semi-Final.

I just heard a radio interview with Felix Magath of the 1986 German team, that lost 3-2 to Argentina in the final.
He said Germany can't lose and predicted a 3-O scoreline.
If even a few of the German team have this attitude, they could be in trouble.
They need to be prepared for a battle from the start, not some kind of walkover, like the semi-final.

Probably the only person in a 100 mile radius here that follows soccer (futbol to the rest of the world). Been running my own prediction matches in Fifa 14. So far, Germany has won 3 and Argentina has won 1

@Pitti Great you got to enjoy it, because it only happens every four years and its so difficult to win and you never know if it will ever happen again, that's why the world cup is so special.

Glad Germany won. It was basically a carbon copy of how Spain won 4 years ago.

Don't agree with Messi winning Golden Ball, though.
