Chile vs Australia has been a close game. Australia just dont have the same quality in the final third as Chile do.

Haha. Had Australia had more quality upfront I think it could have easily finished 3-3. I think Australia were the better team for much of the 2nd half and end of the 1st.

Somehow I think this is going to be a boring match as well, though I think England will win 1-0.
Anyway will see.

I'm curious about Uruguay - Costa Rica as well since Uruguay did a really good job last championship (Lost 4-2 in 1/2 finals in 2010)

yeah, long ball England versus ponderous Italy....i would love England to play like Liverpool, i would like to see them do well.

Uruguay could top the group, or come third. They have great attacking talent but the rest of the team is either very average or too old. Joel Campbell could have a good day against Lugano and the other Uruguayan defenders. Very interesting game indeed.

A good result for England. I think the game against Italy will finish 1-1 though England have the talent (and definitely have the pace) to beat Italy more convincingly as one might expect, but only if we play with intent and not just the 5 minutes of possession followed by a hopeless long ball that we are too used to seeing.

England were very unlucky, they deserved to get a draw out of it, even just to vindicate Roy Hodgson and take the pressure off of the players.

Sterling was a breath of fresh air, could be a big tournament for him.

I was a little disappointed with the impact of the substitutes though. England needed them to bring some energy, and bar a single run from Barkley they brought nothing.

Uruguay game should be a stonker....loser goes home!

A draw wouldn't be too bad for England as they will 'only' have to beat Costa Rica whereas Uruguay will have to beat Italy. But as I said with the Italy game, we have the talent and definitely have the pace to run rings around the aged defence of Uruguay. I just hope our defence can cope with the likes of Suarez and Cavani

The cooler temperatures will suit the high energy game you are playing, and Uruguay's average age means the will tire quickly.

If you can keep a clean sheet i think you can win, you have the talent and a strong bench
