I think this one's sadder for me because I didn't hear it until AFTER Michael died. That, and hearing E.T.'s voice in there.

That's an excellent and surprising choice. I wouldn't have thought anyone your age would've known of E.T. considering I was 5 when I saw it in the theatre and I'm significantly older than you. For me that one was more nostalgic for both E.T. (childhood) and early solo Michael.

It just happened to be the only one that I know all the words to - it was either that or 'Happy Birthday'

Weird. But I don't think Stan would mind anyone repurposing the song he wrote.
BTW my hometown is Halifax so both versions work.
