This Brisbane band has a cult following with 90's rock music fans in America, though they are hardly known in Australia. The band asked me to appear in the video for their upcoming single "In The Aisle", in which their director wanted me to ride around various parts of Brisbane on a bike wearing only my runners, a G-string and a helmet and handing out fliers for a dummy WNBR in Brisbane on July 13th.
Most of the reception I got was quite good, only two guys were really offended by it and they ran off as soon as they saw me try to approach them. There were several kids in the places where we were filming and they all thought it was hilarious and they were filming me with their iPads and camphones.
The song is about social acceptance of people who are often treated as pariahs, and the guys in the band were aware of some of the shit that I copped from people on Time Off magazine's message board when I used to promote nudist events on there, so they thought they'd help out with my crusade by making it part of a video.
It should go to air on YouTube in the next couple of weeks, and will post the link to it when it does. :)
