weaponry throwing

all be it a little expensive to start out with, throwing weapons for fun can be really enjoyable, keep in mind I follow a lot of personal safety guide lines when doing this. I throw special knives that are designed to be thrown, (never throw a knife that isn't meant to be thrown people, bad idea waiting to happen). I also throw a shuriken and ninja star (there is a difference, one has 4 points, one has 8). and I also throw a tactical tomahawk. I do this outdoors, in good weather, with low wind, and I throw at a palate of wood, I make sure there is no one in my path and make sure that I am safe to throw them, total I have 12 throwing knives, 1 star, 1 shuriken, and one tomahawk. pics possible if wanted

I throw bo-shuriken with a no-spin style. Part of my martial arts training in traditional buki-waza.

I made those myself, I've got a dozen of the smaller ones and four of the big ones. I've also made a few knives too. Metalworking is one of my many hobbies...

I have thrown at stationary targets while moving, but not moving targets... I'd have to get pretty creative to make a moving target to throw my spikes at. A swinging target would work, I suppose. Though, achieving adequate penetration would be much more difficult with a mover. I might have to try that now.

since you've already got most of ninja items. why not have caltrops as well. it looks like iron jackstones that you spread on land.

Just use the oldest throwing weapon. It comes in a wide range of colors, sizes, shapes, weights and textures. It can be used on moving or not moving targets. It is readily available. Unlike knives & stuff it is not illegal anywhere, however using it as a weapon might be. It is free. It was in a famous movie even,
