Yes, I have played Cashflow 101 and the other board game designed by him called Cashflow 202. That game was my favorite for a long time.

I've played both versions and I like them.  I think that it is cool that a game teaches people how to read financial statements.

Me and my friend LOVE Othello (also called Reversi). I don't know if it counts as a board game, but we love (besides playing it) joking about the game being "racist" because it always ends with either a ton of black pieces or a ton of white ones. Needless to say, we don't make racist comments, though. We despise any actual racism.

I'm so surprised that nobody else agrees, but I'm a Chess person myself. I love the strategy behind it. Makes the mind sharp.

To be honest, I have tried to learn to appreciate it. I have a friend who has been trying to get me to play more. He even insisted that I would get this thing called BabasChess with which we could play online. Are you familiar with this?

I like playing chess also but I am definitely not an expert. I know people who can finish a game in minutes and never could understand how..

I'm surprised no one has said Diplomacy, yet. It takes forever to play (like any board game), but if you want strategy, back-stabbing, and warfare, look no further!

Is this in the same genre as Risk? I'm intrigued :)

It's similar to Risk, but you generally gain more power in alliances than in massed armies produced.
It's a tad more complicated than Risk, but the complexity makes it all the more interesting.

This wiki article does a good job explaining it all.

Sounds pretty fun. Risk was always a good one, so I'm sure Diplomacy would be one too.

It is always sad to see a fun topic die, I got the nice red "Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days."

Oh well, I never really expect replies anyways! :-D

Chess is a cake walk compared to Feudal, I enjoy both though.

Survive!, Heroscape, Risk, Monopoly, & the above mentioned Feudal are my favorites.

Does anyone play Settlers of Catan?

I have it for X-Box 360.

I WAS GONNA SAY THAT!!! Such a fun game! I used to play that with some friends on a weekly basis. I can get pretty intense though, not unlike Risk.

I'm definitely intrigued by Diplomacy... I'll have to check it out.

I'm a HUGE board game geek. I love all sorts of board games, but particularly strategy or RPG-type games. My favourites are: Game of Thrones (which I prefer over its predecessor Diplomacy), Axis and Allies (which takes forever, so is not played too often), Bang! (one of the best larger group games), and Shadow Rift (a recent favourite and the best cooperative RPG game that I've played).
