Saw that at weekend and nearly bought it. Then i remembered i don't like monopoly so i put it back.

Monopoly was created explicitly to be hated. It's a rant about capitalism tuned into a game. It's meant to make you miserable while one player gets richer and richer and you have little to no option about it.

It worked as intended except... people keep playing it because they think next time they will be the one getting rich.

I hosted a Naked Risk party with a bunch of mates, all in the military. We thought it was funny.

I also had a awesome party where we played Mafia (known as Wolverine in Iceland). It's not really a board game so much a role-playing game, but fun.

Puerto rico.

Wow. And to think I thought it was just a country....

It's a U.S. territory, not a country. Learn2geography, mate.

I'd have to say that my favorite board game is chess, but I also thoroughly enjoy cards and dice games, especially Cribbage and Yahtzee.

No. But my uncle was and I grew up around it. I lived near the base in San Diego for a while and became friends with guys there and at Camp Pendleton. Every few months or so we'll get together for a road-trip caravan or hanging out for a weekend. Almost always a great deal of hanging naked.

Playing Risk naked with military guys was hilarious. They were really into the strategizing and creating alliances. In the end, a friend and I took the world and we had the laugh about the bruised egos.

What's your favourite board game?
My favorite is Zombies!!! Also like A touch of evil. And, of course,  a classic one, Clue. Especially the master detective edition.
I've got a lot of board games. I like to collect them.

@vampisol Monopoly, Cluedo, Scotland Yard, Trivial Pursuit, Risk, Yahtzee...

I love Talisman!! Have you played any of the other Fantasy Flight games? It's my favourite game company. I love Game of Thrones, Tannhauser, and Arkham Horror as well.
