Lars Ulrich, Nicko McBrain, Ian Paice, Neal Peart, Ingo Schwichtenberg, Philthy Animal Taylor, David Mackintosh, Joey Jordison, Dave Lombardo, Vinnie Paul, Mike Portnoy, and Jason Rullo.  There's more, but this is all I can think of off the top of my head.

 Dave Lombardo, Igor Cavalera, Charlie Benante.

My favorites in no order are... Neal Peart, Mike Portnoy, Mike Mangini, Phil Collins, James Kottak, Brad Wilk, Jon Theodore, Steve Hweitt, Brann Dailor(top 3 for sure), Allen Blickle, Thomas Pridgen. Im sure theirs more but cant think of any at this time.

I think the best drummer I have heard is joey jordason from slipknot.  Im not a huge fan of the band but I went to see them with a friwnd (free ticketiand they were supported by a band I liked, cant remember who tho). I was pretty blown away by tbe quality of joeys drumming.

I'm actually a bass player, but I love good drumming. One of my favorite drummers of all time has to be Buddy Rich. It's a shame he was before my time though. I would love to see this man live.

Travis Barker is the best in my opinion.

Other than him I would say Dave Raun (Lagwagon) and Dan Lumley (many bands though I like him more for his work with Screeching Weasel and Rise Against)

I agree.  They're all great.  I'm partial to Mick Shrimpton, who was with the band during that tragic "exploding drummer" fad.
