I love the atmosphere in so many tool songs, I remember the first time I saw the music video for Schism, goddamn scariest few minutes of my life!

Schism is probably my favorite song from Tool. The bass throughout the song is awesome, even though its repetitive.

I've been digging some chill/techno later. One of my recent faves that I'm sure not many have heard of is "Let it Be" by Blackmill... just awesome. Plus just about anything from Oceanlab ("I am what I am" seems appropriate). Give one a listen!



When I'm in for something more lively though I fall back to Deftones a lot. "You've Seen the Butcher" is one of my favorites of their newer-ish stuff. "Digital Bath" also amazing from their older albums, just love the jam they have going on there.

The first time I realized the track is organized into 28s parts, I was really stunned.
It's from a very intense scene of the movie 空気人形.
The track is a short and more classical version of the track 100 years of choke / 百年の窒息.
