Worst film you ever seen?

I liked Gravity! It did a decent enough job with *some* of the physics, and was enthralling enough as a story and a spectacle, that I was prepared to ignore the really obvious science failures and just enjoy it for the artistry, which was staggering.

I tend to avoid seeing films I think will be bad, so the worst one for me is Apocalypse Now. I saw the Director's Cut OMG Supreme Redux Delite Platinum Extra (you get the idea) edition on TV several years ago, and it was the single most tedious film I've ever seen. I'd rather watch Star Wars 1-3 back to back than watch Apocalypse Now again, and SW1-3 made me want to remove my eyes through my ears with a rusty crowbar.

I think my most memorable worst movie is 'Lost in translation'. I was really bored by it, but since it got good reviews I waited for some plot to play out or some point to be made, but I didn't understand it. I need a movie with a bit more obvious action or drama in it. That movie was indeed lost in translation on me, lol...

Oh actually, now you mention it that's a good call. It had all those rave reviews saying it was hilarious and then there was one vaguely amusing scene in the whole thing. Comes in at number 2 behind Apocalypse Now for me by virtue of being mercifully shorter :P

Wow really?

Apocalypse Now was awesome. It was a brilliant modernization of Heart of Darkness as well as a sort of expose on the Vietnam War and racism.

Wasn't he producer?  Or was that men in black? Something will Smith and aliens.

Yeah, I think it was Men in Black.
Embrace your inner lunatic. Fun times guaranteed.

Maybe so, but it took about four times the lifespan of the average star to get to the actual point. It could have comprehensively solved the meaning of everything and I'd hae missed it due to basically being in a coma :P

as a story and a parable it is incredible.........but as a movie, as entertainment, i found it painfully slow, they could have cut 40 minutes from it without affecting anything

Meet the Spartans. Just...awful

Thanks for reminding about that movie... I already had forgotten about it.

The one movie that I have had problem watching was 'Enter the Void'

I didn't really understand that one either - I only half watched it as in background noise while I was on (probably) IYNO ;)

What's not to understand? It's a musical scored and based around songs from The Beatles.

I just saw this movie with Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, I don't even know the tile but it has behind pines or something pines on it. It's terrible, 2:16 of torture.
Make every second count.
