I just looked it up and found a old account of how the world embraced the life style.

Not really turn of the century (circa 1932 with some footage back to 1924) but a wonderful insight into european culture, and particularly Germany, immediately before the rise of Fascism.

I realized that after i posted it but it also sounds better and i couldn't find a good time stamp on it anywhere.
