While maybe not many rail enthusiasts Americans surely appreciate Dwight, couldn’t get a full shot of the engine because of crowds but Dominion of Canada is the same class of locomotive.
I think those were just taken with UV filter which I keep on all of the time to protect the lenses more than anything and by god it did once. Went to toilet at a railway station put my camera bag down and somehow knocked it. Later I went for the camera and found the lens cap was stuck. Turned out it took a knock and smashed the filter. The lens however was and still is safe! Filter was so busted the metal ring had to be cut so it could lift off.
