The first episode of 'Aatami etsii Eevaa' aired today. It wasn't blurred, that was known even before the episode. But there is one noteworthy thing. Since the commercials for the show started running there was always 'sponsored by rfsu shaving products' - and in the end it looked like that all three participants were completely smooth. It was surprising since the smooth looks even on males isn't so common here in my opinion.

Otherwise the show seemed quite nice and appropriate.

I had a quick look a the Finnish version from the Internet and I did not understand much, but it seemed to be similar to other versions of the show. I did not make the connection between the advertisement and the state of the candidate, but it could be that there is one... I guess if you have your cock on display on TV you may want to shave it, so that it appears bigger, rather than lost in a forest of hair. But trimming is good for that too.

Anyway, it's funny how some countries have no problem showing everything, while some (France) blurr genitals (but not butts and breasts), that says something about how unequal and sometimes how weird various standards are. I guess it was the same with the mother of all reality TV shows "Big Brother" and its various national variations.

The show seems a little gimmicky, but it's definitely an interesting concept for a show. It's nice that they don't have to blur out the nudity like they do in North American shows.

I think that for a lot of people, the naked element of this show might be more of a marketing ploy initially. However, it was really refreshing to see a TV program show people in the nude without resorting to blurring or other censorship. I think it could really help people understand non-sexual nudity when they see there's no sex, erections, etc on the show. It's just people going on dates and getting to know each other, and they just happen to be nude while doing so.

I would totally do it! Would never air in the US without massive censorship, which is so annoying. (Naked & Afraid, for example.) But maybe in Sweden they would do it.

So...everyone forgot about "Dating Naked"? Asses weren't censored on that show. Supposedly, there was casting for season 2, but who knows if and/or when filming took place...
