Accurate historical movies

Do you have movies to suggest that are historically accurate? Ideally true stories but I guess fictional stories in accurate historical settings might do.

Saw it a long, long while ago. I'd prefer never to see it again. :-)

I'd have to agree with that. It was a fantastic movie. I watched it on youtube, maybe they still have it up. Another similar movie is "Black Hawk Down" and I watched it on youtube as well.

I asked for historically accurate films guys, not historically themed ones. :-P

Although, the begining of Saving Private Ryan is very historically accurate.

Haha yeah. I guess I didn't catch that part of the question. It's a good question because most I have seen are not very accurate and I also want to find some. I guess that's why I mostly watch documentaries but even there you have to be careful. I'll be on the look out for some.

While we are taking about WWII, "The Fall", about Hitler's last days was amazing and extremely accurate.

The Black Dahlia.   I don't know much about the real case it is based on so I'm speculating.
