Last February, Microsoft added a non-uninstallable addon (well, you can uninstall it but it requires Windows Registry Wizardry) to Firefox that contains a massive security hole via Windows Update. Microsoft ranked it as "critical" but didn't get around to fix it until this Tuesday. So you should be safe after you run Windows Update. I'm not sure if they made it possible or not to uninstall the stupid addon now...

The addon also makes IE unsafe (well, more unsafe).

So, time to patch.
