Not a genre, but possibly the weirdest thing I have ever seen in music:

Caninus, a band led by two pitbulls as vocalists.

It amazes me how few people know about Irish punk. Especially with the use of accordions or bagpipes.

These two are probably most known Irish punk bands that use accordion and/or bagpipes.
