Are the pictures private?
« on: August 25, 2014, 04:02:37 pm »
:62213 and I was wondering if the pictures that we would post, not even necessarily nude, are private from outside of the forum? I would totally post a picture of myself, but I wouldn't want to if people besides you guys on the forum could see it. I looked through the rest of the FAQ just to make sure this question hasn't already been asked, so I just wanted to know.

Thank for the help!  :66664333

Any post in the following sections are the only sections that members gain access to and are not accessible by guests and pre-posters:

Teenzzzz ONLY Section!
Girl-Talk
Gallery

There are other sections available on the forum that are not available for guests, but still accessible by pre-posters and those without permissions. Although we check every member before approving them, it is more difficult to get into these sections, as they have to wait for permissions.

Posting anywhere else assumes the risk that guests (randoms) are able to visit the site and upload and/or view anything posted by a member.

Every section has a high risk of people you might not want to show them to see them.

It really depends on what you mean by people outside of the forums. Maybe you don't want people finding them on Google and thus you are fine with people seeing them after they get an account for instance.

But really, assume anything you post may be found.

Also when publishing pictures online you have to be aware of EXIF data. It's information that's added to every picture you take by the camera / phone.

For instance, you might want to share the hilarious thing your cat did in your living room but you're also sharing the exact GPS coordinates to your house.
