I wrote a song for a close friend of mine

Since a young child
You were forced into the darkness
Neglected from your family
Those creatures show that they are heartless

Time to time things have gotten worst
A new being appears right front of you
He appeared as loving caring person
Became close with each other
like stuck with glue

Since a young child
You were forced into the darkness
Neglected from your family
Those creatures show that they are heartless

Your mind was being destroyed
By the very man that you were close too
Your life was being swallowed by a void
Leaving barely anything behind

Since a young child
you were forced into the darkness
Neglected by your family
Those creatures show that they are heartless

A stranger from a different world
Comes to help you out of the darkness
Being in the darkness so long
That you try to cast him away
Believing his words were wrong

The process happens again
It nearly fully destroyed you
You have given up hope
Letting the darkness break through

Since a young child
You were forced into the darkness
Neglected from your family
Those creatures show that they are heartless

The guy comes back again
See you in the darkness without a shed of hope
He picks you up and holds you in his arms
He slowly guides you out of the darkness and gives you new hope in life


What do you guys think of my song? I know it needs some work

I'm fond of writing a song for someone.. but I lack the talent to have the melody.. So I just make chocolates instead. ^_^
