it's just different levels of driver... there are none out there like Senna or Schumacher right now... none who will go down as a real great no matter how many times they win... put any of them in a slower car than their competition and they lose... put senna in a milk float somone is getting lapped :P

well don't forget alonso! he always puts the best out of slower cars.

would be great to see all the f1 drivers in very similar cars just like the indycars.

@Natterpiller what do you personally think about Robert Kubica's skills compared to others? Do you think he stood out from the grid? Of course given the cars he was given LOL
Feel free to send me PMs on any subject!

alonso was good... so was Button... and raikkonen... but none of them seem to care any more so they just have lost that edge that got them where they were back in the schumacher years and the few years after

Aside from the rubbish new qualifying, a good start to the season. Good changes to clutch and radio regs have put a bit more emphasis on the drivers. Great to see ferrari closer than last year.

without alonso's incident mercedes would not have caught the ferraris... they had no chance till the red flag came out.

So Bahrain this weekend.
Staggeringly theyve kept the revised qualy. Nobody seems happy with it.

just give it a chance.
at least q1 and q2 were not that bad. just a few teams miscalculated the remaining time.
and as nearly all teammates started in the same row, the qualy could not be that exciting as the different cars make too different times. and that has nothing to do with the new style qualy...

Whilst not a big fan of the current guise of F1 I have been fortunate enough to sit in a Ayrton Senna show car.

Glad to see there are other F1 fans  :cheesy: I'm a big fan of Max Verstappen since he joined last season, he is without doubt a future world champion. Amazing defensive driving against Rosberg in Canada.

Over to Baku this weekend, everyone looking forward to the virgin F1 track? I'm thinking Ricciardo will finally get his reward, anyone else have any predictions?
